Queenscliff Singing Weekend 2025

We are delighted to be able to offer, for the third year in a row, a weekend of singing at Queenscliff. Previous renditions have been thrumsome beyond easy descriptive adjectives. This takes place in one of the most acoustically sweet and modestly grand venues in all of Victoria, the Queenscliff Town Hall. The Spookmeister will do his normal thing, using a wide range of musical material to coax heavenly and earthly musical dreamsounds from mere mortals. There will be zingly warmups, ST originals, musics of the world, and thinking person’s pop/rock.

The whole thing is stupid fun and also humanly connective and heartwarming in ways that only these things can be. We’ll start with a sing on Friday evening, there are singings throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, finishing with a final sing on Sunday afternoon which your friends/family can come and hear. Choral experience and the ability to read sheet music is not necessary, all human beings are welcome.

Accommodation is not provided this year, sorry!

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided throughout the weekend.
